Top Doc Awards:
Dr. King is proud to have been selected as a "Top Doc" in Cleveland Magazine for 13 years running. This honor is based on a survey of dentists who select the award winners

In 1976 I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.  My goal while training was to practice in a smaller town and offer a wide range of dentistry for families.  This requires wearing many hats and also further training.  While at Ohio State, I underwent additional training in the General Practice Clinic, where I chaired as class president of 1973.

My Philosophy of Dentistry:

I enjoy the challenge of becoming familiar with people as patients, families, and as individuals.  Our practice strives to treat patients not teeth.  The pace of our office is geared toward individual care.  People and their problems are always different and should be treated as such. There is no hard sell here.

There is no greater thrill to me then to care for a single patient who then marries and they later have children who grow up in my practice.  I now treat the children of children born into my practice.  It is the vision I had as a dental student long ago.

A solo practice in small town Chagrin Falls, Ohio is not dentristy of the past.  One does not need a large mechanized group to have and use the latest techniques and treatments.  Dentistry is based more on the expertise, knowledge and skills of the practitioner.  I have constantly kept my abilities current through conferences and continuing education. Many changes in dentistry are profit driven versus patient driven.  Dentistry has evolved tremendously in my career and I have enjoyed growing with it. I am proud to provide the latest proven materials and techniques.  In my practice, the essence and integrity of providing health care remains "caring to do what is best for the patient."
